Yesterday, one of the funniest ladies in television, passed away. She suffered from advanced dementia, and was 84. Even though her television career started late in her life, she made a huge mark with her role as Sophia Petrillo on The Golden Girls. I'm sad for her passing.
Now she's at Shady Pines in the Sky....

Ok so Today was weigh in day. I have lost 14 pounds in 14 days. Yay!
I don't think you can really tell by looking at me, but I can feel a little difference.

Ok So I wanted to wait until I lost some weight before I posted anything. I guess I was just afraid that I would fail and not stick with it. But I started my diet last Tuesday May 20th. I have lost 7 pounds in 7 days. I stopped drinking Regular pepsi's (well all soda actually), and no more carbs or sugar for me for awhile.
I want to stay on it for about a month or so, we'll see how it goes. With atkins you are not supposed to drink alcohol, but I am skipping that part!.
So here are the before Pics. I will post some progress photo's in another week or 2 when you might actually be able to see a difference.

8 hours @ 350 is too long to cook a Meatloaf!

Ok so I started the atkins Diet earlier this week, and I was cooking some meats last night, and decided to throw some in the oven as a meatloaf. then I went in to make the bed, it looked so comfortable, that I got ready for bed and forgot all about the meatloaf. woke up this morning thinking damn you can still smell all the sausage and meat that I cooked last night. Then I remembered and jumped out of bed. luckily no smoke or anything bad.

I was sitting at my computer this afternoon @ 3:38pm, and thought I felt something, but just figured someone in the building slammed there door or something, but still thought it was wierd, so I looked it up and sure enough, it was a 4.1 happened 61 miles from San Diego, and 26 miles from Palm Springs.
